What I have to show you today is an incredibly simple idea for decorating the table tops at a baby shower (or it could also easily be customized for a wedding shower too).
Supplies:
- Picture frames (your choice on style and size, I chose the very inexpensive clear plastic free standing frames you can find at the dollar store, or for less than a dollar at Hobby Lobby when they're half off).
- Ribbon
- Scrapbook paper
- Glittery letter stickers (or not glittery....choose your own style)
- hot glue gun (or another form of adhesive to attach the ribbon)
I chose to spell out the baby's name on the picture frames in glittery sticker letters (you can find these at most craft stores, but I have found the best selection for variety at Hobby Lobby). However, you could just as easily use your own phrases. Descriptive words like Adorable, Precious, Blessing, and so on.... I used scrapbook paper that went with the theme of the shower.
So, it's a pretty simple three step process.
1. Choose scrapbook paper, cut to size to fit in frame. Place in frame.
2. Choose words and space sticker letters to your liking on frame.
3. Hot glue a bow with coordinating ribbon.
Simple, simple, simple!
Here they are on the cake table at the shower.
And, just for added inspiration in case you're doing a frog themed shower soon....
A frog themed guest table setting.
The lily pads on the table are cut out of felt. The frog on top of the mini diaper cake was purchased in the wood template section of Hobby Lobby.
And, after the shower the mom got to take home the diapers and the frames. I created the frames to match the theme of the nursery so she could slip in her own photo to use in the baby's room. As you can see, this is very easy to customize for any shower. Hope you find some inspiration from it!
